Life often unfolds in seasons of waiting. Moments where we wonder when God will move, when circumstances will change, or when His promises will come to pass.

This week, Col took us to John 2:1–12, the story of Jesus turning water into wine at a wedding in Cana. This became the setting for Jesus’ first public sign, revealing His glory and pointing to the beginning of something new.

At the heart of this story is a lesson about trust. Mary brought the problem to Jesus, then stepped back and deferred to His timing. She believed that God was at work, even when she could not yet see the outcome. And when the moment came, Jesus did more than meet the need. He transformed ordinary water into the best wine, showing that God’s grace is abundant and that His timing is always purposeful.

We were reminded that faith is often formed in the waiting. Whether we are praying for healing, direction, restoration, or breakthrough, God hears our prayers and remains present in every season. He is not distant or indifferent. He is faithful, and He is working, even when the answer feels delayed.

Jesus brings new joy, new creation, and new hope. And just as He did at that wedding, He still moves in our lives today, often in ways we do not expect.
