This week, Pastor Jeff took us into John 15, where Jesus declares, "I am the true vine." Drawing on the imagery of Israel as God's vineyard, Jesus reveals that He is the true source of life. Just as a branch cannot bear fruit unless it remains connected to the vine, we cannot live the life God has called us to apart from Him.

Pastor Jeff unpacked what it means to abide in Christ. Remaining in Him. Walking with Him throughout the day. Praying, worshipping, listening, and continually drawing life from His presence. As we stay connected to Jesus, He shapes us from the inside out, producing the fruit of the Spirit and forming us into people who reflect His Kingdom.

Rather than striving harder to become more loving, patient, or kind, Jesus invites us to focus on our connection with Him. Fruit is not something we manufacture through effort. It is the natural result of abiding in the vine. From that place of relationship comes a life marked by love, joy, peace, and faith-filled prayer that bears lasting fruit.

This message encouraged us to move beyond simply following Jesus from a distance and into a daily, moment-by-moment relationship with Him. As we abide in Christ, we discover the life He has always intended for us, and through us, God continues His work of blessing the world.
