This week, guest Pastor Tom Sapsford led us into John 4, the story of Jesus meeting the Samaritan woman at the well. She came to draw water in the middle of the day, isolated and carrying the weight of her past. Yet in that ordinary moment, Jesus offered her something completely different. Not just water for the day, but living water that would satisfy the deepest needs of her heart.
Jesus showed that true worship is not about where we come from, what we have done, or how well we perform. Trust worship is about receiving what God freely gives. The Father seeks worshippers who worship in spirit and truth, people who recognise their need for Him and respond to His grace.
We were reminded that God still meets people in unexpected places. He offers living water to thirsty hearts, fresh vision for the future, and the freedom that comes from knowing Him personally. There is always more that God wants to do in and through our lives.
