Money pressures, rising costs, dwindling savings. The fear of financial lack is real. It can feel like there’s never enough, and anxiety about tomorrow creeps into today.
In this message, Pastor Jeff shares how God’s Word gives us freedom from that fear. Drawing from the story of Elijah and the widow in 1 Kings 17, Jeff reminds us that while brooks may dry up and jars may look empty, God is always our provider. The earth is the Lord’s and everything in it (Psalm 24:1), and He is faithful to supply all our needs according to His riches in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). There’s no lack in God’s kingdom.
At the heart of this message is a shift from fear to trust, from relying on our own limited resources to living in God’s unlimited provision. Jeff shows how freedom comes when we put God first in every part of life, trust Him with the first of our finances, practice faithful giving through tithes and generosity, and learn to live wisely while believing for God’s abundance.
This is an invitation to step into a life where fear of lack is replaced by faith in God’s goodness.
Faithful giving leads to faith-filled living where there is always enough, and often overflow.
