This week, Pastor Jeff took us into John 13, where Jesus shared His final meal with His disciples. Knowing that all authority had been given to Him, He did something no one expected. He knelt down, took the place of the lowest servant, and washed His disciples' feet. The One with all authority chose to serve and in that moment, Jesus revealed the full extent of His love and the heart of God's Kingdom.

Before asking His disciples to do the same, Jesus first insisted on serving them. It is a reminder that the Christian life doesn't begin with what we do for God, but with receiving what He has done for us. From hearts transformed by His love, we are then sent into the world with a simple command: "Do as I have done to you."

Pastor Jeff reminded us that this is a roll-up-your-sleeves kind of faith. Love is more than a feeling. It is a verb. It is choosing to serve, to humble ourselves, and to see others as more important than ourselves, just as Jesus did. This kind of servant-hearted love is not weakness. It is the very attitude of Christ.

Jesus promised that when His people love one another this way, the world will know they belong to Him. As we allow Him to change us from the inside out, our lives become a living demonstration of the Gospel, showing a different kind of Kingdom and a different kind of King.
